THE MUSEUM

The Museu Agbar de les Aigües is a contemporary museum devoted to water, intended to promote knowledge and values through a living, learning and leisure experience.

THE PERMANENT EXHIBITION

The Permanent Exhibition is located inside a large modernist building, designed by the architect Josep Amargós i Samaranch in Cornellà de Llobregat.

THE EXHIBITIONS

Three exhibition spaces dedicated to water as a substance, its properties and the history of water supply. Temporary exhibitions deal with specific aspects of water from a human and contemporary perspective.

HOW TO GET THERE

PRICE TO VIEW THE PERMANENT EXHIBITION

  • Individual ticket: 4.5 euros.
  • Reduced-price tickets: Under 18s, carnet jove and +25, students, unemployed, pensioners, retired, over 65s and large-family card: 2.25 euros.
  • Free for under 7s, Club Super3, ICOM, AMC, APGCA.
  • Special prices for groups and guided tours.
  • Audio-guides available.
  • Advance reservation is required for guided tours in English.

OPENING HOURS

Winter hours (from September 16 to June 14): From 10 to 18 h, from Tuesday to Saturday.

Summer hours (from June 15 to September 15): From 10 to 20 h, from Tuesday to Saturday.

From 10-14 h, Sundays and holidays (except Mondays).

Closed on January 1, December 25 and Mondays, and August.

Closed from the 10th to the 14th of june (both included)
